Perfect American pancake

Preparation 55 min.

In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, sugar and pinch of salt.

In the middle of a dry mixture, a hole is made where eggs are poured, butter and milk melted.

Whip it thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Can be cultivated either by hand or using a mixer.

In a good, non-stick pan, melt a small piece of butter and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Heat a medium hot pan.

When the butter has started to froth in heat, pour it into the pan. When baked with small pancakes, leave a free space between them, as they are slightly expanded during baking.

Each pancake is baked for an average of 1-2 minutes on each side. If you are not sure, turn the pancake for the first time when you see that fine bubbles are formed in the dough. Then bake as long on the other side.

Serve with maple syrup or some sweet sauce.

Ingredients 4 servings

200 g of self-flouring flour

200 ml of milk

3 big eggs

1 eat. k. sugar

1.5 tsp. baking powder

25 g of melted butter + butter for baking

1 pinch of salt

Vegetable oil for baking
